My brother Bill, one of my many heroes, suggested that a blog would be a terrific way to keep all of you who I love so dearly up to date on how things are going in my life, and because he is way smarter than me, I am going to do just that.

- A few things I want to say right away. First, I cannot tell you just how important your thoughts and prayers for us have been, and continue to be. God has blessed me in so many ways I just can't begin to list them all. My family whom I love so very much. My mentors in Christ, Pastor Jess and Pastor Ted. My friends from Auburn, Marquette, from all the places I have worked, my Auburn Fire Department brothers and sisters, so many more. To each and every one of you, I say thank you from the bottom of my heart for your support and prayers. They work, of that I am sure, as I feel your strength every minute of every day. And most of all, I thank God for granting us so many miracles, great and small.
